Air cane by John Blissett

With thanks to Beth of Amoskeag Auctions, Inc. for permission to post these pics.

The original auction blurb said:

".32 caliber, 36 1/2" overall with a 19 1/2" barrel. This cane is muzzle loading and retains about 90 - 95% original black lacquer finish. The original brass tip is included along with the horn handle. The cane comes in a wonderful original period mahogany case with very nice "John Blissett" makers label. The red baize lining rates very good plus to excellent, the exterior of the case is about very good. This cane does not fit perfectly and while this is a correct period case, it is not original to this cane. Accessories include black lacquered pump and handle, bullet mold, key and cast balls. A handsome set."
