Benjamin model E

Spotted by D T Fletcher on Ebay. He said: "An okay looking model E. the front screws are replacements, they should be slotted and nickel plated. The real question is: are the guts there? Curious how an E, without knowing what's really going on with it, makes out.

note: the model E and F are identical, other than markings. The valve configuration, if you are not already aware, is an odd folded metal arrangement that is essential to the guns operation, is impossible to source, and, at least so far, impossible to reproduce. These are really fun guns and well worth the effort of getting them going, which is actually pretty easy. Be sure to check in here about disassembly, there's an essential trick, never force anything!"

Benjamin 392P

With thanks to Marty. He says:

"A 392P isn't rare but a nickel 392P certainly is. The 39x were built in '91, '92, & '93. In '94 Benjamin introduced the 39xPA & it lasted til '95 I believe. The trigger assembly & thumb safety remained the same as that of the 39x. In '96 Benjamin introduced a much different design. The years prior to the '96 are the most desirable."
