E Bond of London.

With thanks to Beth of Amoskeag Auctions, Inc. for permission to post these pics.

The original auction blurb said: ".38 caliber, 26 1/2" part round part octagon barrel with nice tapered sixteen sided section and turned rings at transition to round. The frame features very nice game scene engraving of dogs and birds with floral borders and starburst accents. The barrel has a nice top loading mechanism and is engraved on top flat "E. BOND. 45. CORN HILL LONDON". The barrel retains about 15% original blue finish with the balance bearing a smooth gray brown patina. The action bears a lovely smooth gray patina with all engraving remaining clear and legible. The leather covered reservoir butt rates excellent retaining about 90% of its leather covering. This is a fine quality London air gun by a well regarded maker which remains in very nice condition."
