Unmarked European butt reservoir.
With thanks to Beth of Amoskeag Auctions, Inc. for permission to post these pics.
The original auction blurb said: ".43 caliber, 22 1/2" round barrel with octagonal breech and neatly tapered sixteen sided transition to round. Rifle features lock mechanism mounted externally on right side of action with the plunger actuator being mounted vertical on top of action adjacent to cocking lever. The barrel bears a rich even brown patina overall with some scattered areas of light surface oxidation present. The top loading tap action frame is very similar in appearance to the barrel. The reservoir butt is of copper and bears a rich deep patina. A nice quality early air rifle in nice original condition."
