Note: DT Fletcher says: "It is not correct to call the side lever a 'bypass by dry firing' lever. It is instead a decocking lever to allow the gun to be decocked without firing the gun. The mechanism on these guns is such that without that decocking mechanism the gun will fire at full power if the hammer is allowed to fall, even very slowly."
