Cometa (Bascaran) 'Indian' direct pull cocking pistol
With thanks to John G for the heads up. John says: "This Spanish "Indian" was Cometa's first venture into air pistols, dating to the 1940's ( when Cometa was Bascaran), and is extremely rare. It was replaced by the Fenix, not quite so rare but hard to find, which used the same cocking principle. Both could also fire corks due to their modifed muzzles. Interestingly Cometa resurrected the name "Indian" with their big over lever pistol, which came onto the market in 1996."
