The Dewey, Westpoint, Roosevelt, Crescent and OZIEHS single shots are all practically identical except for the name cast on the frame. Dunathan claimed that the OZIEHS is Japanese made and surmises that the Crescent Company imported these rifles from Japan to distribute in the United States. I find that very doubtful. OZIEHS is not a Japanese word or name. I found OZIEH is a African name from Nigeria Africa...
Crescent Gun Company was incorporated on Feb 1898 and was liquidated early 1905.
Dewey, West Point and Roosevelt are all military related names. Wonder what the significance of OZIEHS is.
