Crosman Model-38T (Target) - Cased and Chromed.

Courtesy of Leonardj.

A pair of unfired, chrome, Crosman 38Ts, with the rare black grips.
The chrome is flawless, as the guns are claimed to be unfired since new.
The wooden presentation case, with dark blue velour lining is a recent addition.

Crosman Model-38T internal parts

With thanks to Bill.

Note: the top one is a later .177 cal and the bottom one an earlier .22 cal.

Bill said:

Pic of my two fully restored Crosman 38T air pistols. Top one is .177, and I think it’s what is called the third version. Probably late 1970s to mid-1980s, but not sure how to date it. Serial number 127803530.

Bottom one is .22 and based on paperwork in original box that was printed in May 1969, my guess it was made in late 1969. It’s has the early brass valve, which is slightly larger and heavier than the later zinc-based valve.
