Crosman 121CG CO2 rifle

With thanks to D T Fletcher for the pics. He said on the AVA:

"This is the 121CG owned by the The Todd Girls shooting team who competed in the Rochester City Shooting Championships.   The Todd Corporation was an important business operating in Rochester, of course.  The gun is in near mint condition, with no apparent wear. Most unusual is the rubber eye shield which was standard equipment on the 121 CG."

Crosman 121CG CO2 rifle

With thanks to Bob Holtz, who worked at Crosman from February 1956 to January 1995.

He says:

Somewhere between 40 and 50 years ago I acquired this rifle, as you see it in the first photo below, stored in a homemade corduroy case with a 4 1/2 oz. tank attached.

A separate container held a couple cans of .210 Crosman Precision Pells.

As l recall being told, the original owner competed in Rochester, NY Crosman Rifle Ranges corporate team matches and his wife made the corduroy case.

It has a screw eye at the forearm tip but the screw in the pistol grip (see last photo) is a bit puzzling.

Shooting it a few times depleted the remaining gas and it’s been stored away since.
