The Canadian Boy was developed by the Canadian Crosman factory in Dunnville, Ontario. The gun was built on the short stroke pistol action of the model 130, to create what was intended as a youth oriented rifle. These guns were not built in great quantity, and due to the intended market, they had a low survival rate, making locating a good specimen today, very difficult.
Crosman saw the value of both the concept, and the design, thus continued it's development to eventually become the Crosman model 760.
