Crosman Model-160 - Second Variant.

On the second variant, the trigger pivot no longer passes through the stock, but is now attached to a small sub-assembly that is now attached to the gun's action.

Crosman Model-160 - Third Variant.

Courtesy of Leonardj.

The third variant saw the introduction of the modular, adjustable trigger unit to the 160.

The S331 rear peep sight was offered as an option, and could be factory installed, or purchased as a kit to be installed by either an Authorized Crosman Service Station, or by the end user.

This particular 160 came equipped with a higher than normal front sight, and a protective hood.

The information below is taken from the catalogue advertising the auction of the Myron Kasok airgun collection, sold by the Rock Island Auction Company December 13-15, 2003. Pic is copyright Rock Island Auction Co.

Crosman Model-160 Pellgun (third, 'military' variant)

Wth thanks to Paul. This is apparently a 'military' model, one of a number bought and later sold by the USAF. It has sling swivels fitted, which may designate it as such.
