Crosman Model-70 (CO2)
With thanks to Ian for these pics.
D T Fletcher, the Crosman expert, says about this model "The Model 70 is a great looker, based on the Remington rifle of the same model number; however, it was the first Crosman Inc (i.e. Coleman) and it is generally considered to have been a failure in the American airgun market. Too much plastic. Piece of junk, compared to previous Crosman models.
All of which makes the Model 70 a bit difficult to find. Also, that plastic barrel shroud cracks and with no replacement parts they get junked. Be sure to keep it out of the sun and handle it very carefully so as not to break it."
