The original auction blurb said: ".180 cal., 31 1/2" overall. This rare and desirable Daisy rifle is in wonderful original condition. The right side of the grip is cast with the maker name and address with the left side being cast with the patent dates. This variation has the wire stock with the wood insert, both of which remain in excellent condition. The barrel assembly and air chamber tube retain 95% original nickel plated finish. The cast grip and triggerguard assembly retain about 70% original nickel plated finish blending with a smooth and pleasing brown patina. The wire stock retains 90% plus original nickel plate with the wooden stock insert retaining 95% original varnish. This is a very fine example of this rare and early little Daisy rifle."
