With thanks to John Griffiths, author of the Encyclopedia of Spring Air Pistols. He says:
The EM-GE pistol is extremely rare and seems to have been mostly used for shooting galleries and shooting games. It was itself a derivative of the EM-GE Model 2 air rifle. These are the two together for comparison:
