Hi   If a kind soul has a copy of Hilliers (edition 4, Pg 162 I think) can they give more info please

Very good, Small crack to stock (age related ok). Cocks shoots and fires well. Accurate.

I'm guessing the earlier ones had teardrop breech forks and the later ones were squared off, but I don't know for sure.

Certainly this was true with the earliest Haenel model II, before the teardrop pattern was abandoned  by 1928.
