Old Walther Lp53 with different Box

Mike your pistol is one of the first and the case is an early one.

Although of course it does not have a hole for a pellet tin.

I think originally it would have had brown grips. The frame colour is strange - perhaps suggesting Walther had not yet settled on a finis?

• @garvin  Thanks for your answer! Unfortunatly I don't know if the grips were changed sometime bevor I get it. Also I don't know, why the frame is looking like it is.I get it like you see it on the photos.For me it's a bit looking like the pre owner cleaned it so often that the colour is gone.I dont know.But I dont understand, where you see a second hole for a pellet box in the gun box.There is only one hole for the wooden cocking device. Mike I don't think it would normally be that colour even if it was 'cleaned' by a former owner!

Sorry, i meant to say 'does not' have a hole for a pellet tin.

Have you ever seen a Box like this bevor? Just for me to classify the rarity.

No, this is the first one I've seen (ie. with no hole for a pellet tin).
