 Eisenwerke Gem.

An Eisenwerke Gaggenau heavy pattern Gem in .25 cal SB (circa 1884-1900), with a Cogswell & Harrison trademark - A London gunsmith who imported and re-badged small numbers of Gem air rifles in the early 1900's.

Another that does not belong to me...

Eisenwerke Gaggenau No.15.

Think this is a no 15 because the length and weight correspond with the brochure and it is marked with a "G" on the breech block.
It is a 4,5mm smoothbore and shoots with considerable power (5-6 ft/lbs).
Strange thing is : there is NO piston washer present ,nor has it a screw hole to fit one?
All the nickel plated parts where badly pitted and rusty ,so I decided to polish them .................

Two EG No.13 - Lane's type barrel lock Gems.

Pics of my 2 Eisenwerke model 13s / Lanes type barrel lock Gems, note one has the Lane's "strengthened" trigger guard

Been sent some pics of a nicely restored and very shiny Lane's Jewel Gem (Eisenwerke Gaggenau No13), many thanks go to Mr Korn for these great pics...(great work marrying that top lever to the cylinder Frank)

Eisenwerke Gaggenau No.9

The illustration of this model in Eberhard's catalogue, which is not too accurate around the breach area, looks even odder than the gun itself!
