Haenel Model-50 Repeater - Detailed photos.

With thanks to Tim Dyson of http://www.timdysonairguns.co.uk

Sales blurb:

Product Description

A very rare Pre War Haenel Model 50 .174 Calibre (Lead Ball) repeater Air Pistol manufactured in March 1930. This particular model had a short production run of between 1930 and 1934 and is therefore scarce.

It is a gravity fed 50 shot repeater air pistol. The magazine is loaded via the small hole on top of the cylinder it is then cocked by pulling the wooden cocking handle at the rear of the cylinder. The pistol is then tipped upwards to allow a lead ball to enter the breech it is then fired in the conventional manner. To load another round the process is repeated.

This particular pistol is in excellent condition for its age. The nickel plated finish is in very good condition apart from the odd scuff mark it is clearly stamped on top of the cylinder ‘HAENEL MOD.50- DRGM’

The hardwood grips are also in excellent condition and are clearly stamped on the butt ‘3.30 MADE IN GERMANY’

It cocks and fires with no issues.

This is a really exceptional example of a very rare pre war German Air Pistol.

Haenel mod 50 unusual markings

With thanks to Bruce Jr for this pic. He says: "Every Haenel I had previously seen had the markings so they read left to right, barrel to the back of the receiver.  One of my Haenel Mod 50s has the markings read from the back of the receiver to the barrel, right to left."
