Hämmerli Single Kurz (.22 cal) Air Pistol.
With thanks to Mark for these pics. He says: "I have never seen or heard of a .22 cal Hammerli before and wondered if this could have been done by an enthusiastic former owner. Having examined it very closely and had it looked over by a very knowledgeable fellow collector, I believe that it was made as an experimental model,that was never put into production...
"Note no calibre markings or serial number
- The lack of a screw holding the front sight in place and the black plastic grips.No Hammerli CO2 pistols were ever fitted with black grips. The frame is finished in what looks like a silver smooth hammerite finish
- Smaller and different location trigger adjustment access
- Trigger blocks - the .22 is the lower one - note lack of sear adjustment screw."
