Its what I would think the Third generation Bugelspanner would look like. 

I verified the dating as 1919 as well from the DRGM serial number year list.

Waffenwerk Kirchner was established in March 1915, with its duration agreed upon as ten years to December 31 1924.

It was announce the firm cease to exist in February 12 1924. I think that spell the end to this unique Bugelspanner.

So it would appear this Bugelspanner was only made for less than 5 years Too bad, I love the appearance of this gun,

and it was such a radical departure from the standard Bugelspanner of the day.

Apparently Kirchner later tried to go it alone, but went bankrupt in 1929.
