The Lane's tins were advertised in "The Sporting Goods Review" on April 15th 1902; the 'Arrite Slugs' appeared in the same magazine on February 16th 1903; both were also offered for sale in the 'Gamages of Holborn' catalogue of the same era.
Banks Flanged slugs were in the SGR of June 1904, and Lane's Turbite pellets in Jan 1905. Whilst the Banks tins do appear occasionally, the Lane's Bully Bullets never do - they were advertised in the SGR of May 15th 1907, being "Specially Recommended for use with Rifled Barrels".
The Banks's Bulfin came out in Nov 1907, the company being located in Kingsland High Street, London.
My favourite pellets are the 1908 Lane's 'KUM-KUM Bullets', which regretably I have yet to locate!
Lane's pellets continued to be advertised to at least 1922, the Bully Bullet being "known throughout the world."
