Stove enameled alloy trigger block and trigger guard. Blued steel barrel, cylinder and lever. Very good laminated stock with BSA symbol with flying ‘B’ of left side. Long deep grooved fore end grip. Bakelite stock bolt filler plug. Auto opening tap. Foresight ramp brazed on the barrel.
The dimensions of this air rifle are externally identical to the .22 cal Mk1 Airsporter Weight 71/2 Ibs. Originally the .177 cal 'Club' was a shorter version of the Airsporter and 7,749 were made between December 4th 1950 and 22nd July 1954. The later 'Club' was longer, the same length as the Airporter and apparently 2709 were made. EA 19596 is one of these. ExWO&C."
