BSA Meteor Mk3 (ball detent breech lock-up)

With thanks to Thomas.

He says:

The serial number is a quite low NE 504. According to to John Knibbs the Mk3 being made between 1969 & '73 should make a 1969 model.
Mk 2s were also made up to 1969 but the square pin fitting rear sight lug is pure Mk3...

There are multiple scratches and some pitting to the barrel and cylinder and the barrel has been sanded to show the markings. The rear of the cylinder has four small holes drilled that will be hidden by the plastic end cap.
