Trevor says: "BSA Mercury Mk3

Length 43” overall with 181/2” blued steel .177 calibre barrel. Weight 7 1/4 lbs. Has a painted alloy trigger block and stained beech stock with cheekpiece, stamped checkering at grip and a rubber recoil pad. Top of barrel stamped BSA GUNS LTD ENGLAND followed by the BSA piled arms symbol. The top of the air chamber is stamped BSA MERCURY between scope rails. Has a tangent rearsight and improved trigger from previous models and also has an aluminum piston head. Front sight has hood. This version preceded the walnut stocked model Mercury ‘S’.

Made 1978 - 1985."
