Diana model 48 (custom stock)

The owner says:

It's a .177 Diana 48 in what can definitely be described as a 'custom' stock, but I don't think its by any of the major makers. Lets say it has some...erm...'unique' features? I'm not entirely sure what the stock is made of wood-wise, but most forms seem to be playing a part.

The raised cheek piece isn't adjustable as its held firm by two crosshead screws. The palmgrip looks to be some sort of fibreglass type resin. My initial thought was that exhaust weld repair stuff! The stock itself is perfectly comfortable and useable, though the butt is pretty much stuffed full of lead so it's a fair weight to lug about!

The safety catch looks 'bespoke' shall we say, as a rolled strip of ridged white metal and the 'match' trigger seems to feature most of the contents of that random drawer we all have in a the garage. The rifle has a date code for 1988 so I presume at that sort of age it'd be most likely someones prized FT rig?
