Diana Model-27
Diana Model-27 - "MGR"-marked
With thanks to Mark for these pics.
The rifle is in .177 cal and is 109cm long. Note the adjustable rear sight, based
on the BSA Improved Model D design. These have been seen on post-WW2 Diana mods.
This rifle could actually be a mod 37 according to the illustrations on this list
Diana Model-27E with pistol grip stock.
Here is an export model 27. It has no markings whatsoever, so perhaps was destined to be 'rebadged'in an export market?
Note the unusual BSA-style trigger guard, which is similar to one fitted to the export model 27 pictured earlier in this section.
Sadly it has been fired during cocking and has a slightly upward pointing barrel.
