Sharp Mini-UD
With thanks to Louis.
He says:
I think that Sharp founder and designer/engineer Mr Kensuke Chiba got his inspiration for the Mini-UD from the Crosman 180.
It is a nice little carbine. I spent the last few mornings and evenings on the gun: cleaning, replacing a few seals, and one coat of CCL oil on the stock, as it looked a bit dull. Will have to test soon. My Sharp U-SL, which is basically the same gun with a thumbhole stock, does 30 very consistent shots at 185 m/s with 7.87 gr JSB (607 ft/s). That's with one CO2 capsule.
(At my 30 meter range, I think the shot count will be higher, before I notice pellet drop).
