European crank lever gallery rifle.
With thanks to Beth of Amoskeag Auctions, Inc. for permission to post this pic.
The original auction blurb said: ".29 cal., 21 1/2" octagon brass lined smooth barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel bears a gray patina and slides forward for loading. The cylinder and hardware retain a nicely mellowed brass finish. The raised cheekpiece wood stock and handguard rate good to very good with light handling marks and a thin crack in left wrist. The crank is finished bright with a turned wood handle. Most likely an 1850's era central European design, a sure topic of conversation in any airgun collection."
