This resettable tin can target was pretty simple but required a bit of fettling.
Just a plank of wood with three 20mm holes in it. Three bean cans (drinks cans were too thin and the pellets just passed through them without knocking them over)
Holes in the base of the can, string poked up through the hole in the plank of wood, and then through the hole in the can..then a washer tied to the end so the string couldn't be pulled back through the hole.
Then all three strings came down and were tied together and connected to a single string that runs to the shooter.Tricky bits were:
all 3 strings had to be long enough so when one can was hanging down it didn't make the other two strings taut.
When tying the three strings together before connecting to a single string they all have to be under equal tension.
The string had to be light so it's weight didn't hold the cans down. I used target reset string which is very light weight.
The back lower edge of the plank had to be rounded off a bit to allow the cans to flip back up.Once set up though it works really well.
