I've been told that Phil has finally acquired a Webley Hurricane! I'm looking forward to reading about his tinkering and plinking on here. 👍
You know how to start Phil "Whenever I undertake one of these projects, I say to myself" 🙄
I'm sure you know all about breech seals and checking the transfer port screw by now.
If you fancy a "little something for the weekend" (Oh err missus) ----------------here is a refresher for the Trigger Tuning https://forum.vintageairgunsgallery.com/webley-pistols/webley-tempest/#post-233.
It only takes about 15 minutes and is worth it. I seem to be the odd one out as I prefer the narrower early trigger to the later wider one. I even rounded the edges on one I had and still didn't like it. I think I sent that one up to a bloke in Scotland.
Tis true 👍
Somehow up until this week I have never owned a Hurricane although I have plinked with a couple back in the day.
I mentioned it in passing to a few people that I was on the look out for a Hurricane and a Typhoon and Chris @HWVixen got in touch some time later to tell me he had found me a really nice Hurricane if I was interested. A deal was done and it turns out it really is in fantastic condition, thanks again Chris 😎
There’s no need for any form of restoration but I will give it a service and it may barely need that tbh.
Just a nice (unboxed) Typhoon to find now and with Kempton coming up on March the 8th I’m hoping to strike lucky.
😄 it’s a fair point Stu, I don’t know how I’m so late to the party on this one to be honestAbout time phil 😂
It was my second pistol after my first pistol the trusty gat nearly 40 years ago,it was amazing to aim at something and actually hit it 🤣 and the start of a life long webley obsession.
Its funny how it all starts, my Webley obsession started with a
El-Gamo Centre! And as odd as that sounds it’s absolutely true 😂

You really need to sample the Relum Hurricane that Gamo nicked the idea from Phil. I can dig one out of the box and send it to you on extended loan if you want?
I prefer the Relum to the Gamo Falcon or Center
While on the subject, don't forget those other copies (Italian Bruni CF-92 and Chinese QS35). 😏
