With thanks to a fellow collector. He says:

Originally KT83 was Ken's own FT match rifle which shot a number of seasons and many competitions and sports a grade3 high comb FT fashioned French walnut stock, 15 inch Feinwerkbau choked barrel and interestingly a long cocking arc which is expertly timed to provide a relatively short piston travel powered by a silicon chrome Weihrauch 80 size main spring and Ken's own design 'Fieldmaster' match trigger with brass set back blade.

The concentric piston / compression tube design is that of a conical shape sealing by use of a series of O rings and a buffer segment, this way Ken could achieve the precise length transfer port perfectly matched to the rifles swept volume naturally with all of Ken's designs the moving parts are sealed by use of synthetic bearings and studs this is something that Ken first pioneered and not anyone else.
