Unknown fairground / arcade repeater
Posted on the American Vintage Arguns forum by boonieguy. Ken W said: "No real idea of what you have, but the forestock looks vaguely ABT-ish (Adler/Bechtol/Tratsch), while the mechanism not at all like the ABT designs I am familiar with. All of the various Air-O-Matic guns used .173 shot, not BB shot. Not all ABT rifles were marked.
How is this loaded and cocked? Could it be missing a bolt/actuator of some sort, in addition to the side plate? What is the purpose of that short slot on the right sideplate, beneath the long slot (which I am guessing is the shot magazine/mechanism)? Would this possibly be access for cocking the action?"
