BSA Lincoln Jeffries Information needed

Hello, 

I have a early 1905 Lincoln Jeffries and my leather piston cap has come off and is now lodged in the air chamber.

Does anyone know what size the thread on the screw is so I can try find a nut to attach to a rod to try pull it out or if anyone had has this problem before how they overcame it

I asked Eddie if he knew and he said: "Afraid I do not know the thread, Knibbs or Protek or T.W.Chambers may know, as they sell replacements, but getting a nut maybe the issue.......I would initially try a cleaning rod from the muzzle to see if that works."
