Help required to identify more precisely my vintage BSA

This belonged to my late father in law who owned it when he was a boy. He gave it me....50 years ago.

It's a 1920s Light Pattern BSA. 🙂

i have just bought an old bsa.177 could it be lincoln jeffrey serial number is  A3100 any idea how old it has BSA in big letters on both sides of the stock, the bloke i bought it from said it is 1903

No, more likely a 1930s Light Pattern with that serial number, assuming it's an underlever. Lincoln Jeffries/BSA didn't even start producing this pattern of air rifles until 1905!
