I was given many years ago a Lincoln Jeffries .177  under lever Air Rifle.

Serial No:-  CS 43900, good working condition, slightly pitted on the barrel, a new spring was fitted but still have the original.

I was led to believe by the owner who gave it to me that is was used by his father in the Midlands at air rifle competitions pre WW1.

Can anyone give any information about this and it's value ?

It's from around 1930 and is a BSA Club Standard, which was a target rifle so a former competition gun is plausible but not pre-WW1, obviously.

Have a look around the BSA section of this gallery for more information.

Value depends very much on condition, from about £100 to over £300 for a really nice example.  ?
