Hello. New to the forum, thanks for the acceptance. I just acquired a new to me Diana Model 5 air pistol. I am looking for what year it is and cannot find out the exact information. I see ones on the internet that show Modell 5 DRP. Mine reads made in Germany. Does anybody know any info?

The Diana mod 5 was made before and after WW2 so it very much depends what it looks like. Pics of each in the gallery.

Thanks Garvin. I did find some valuable information in the archives. Someone a few years back posted pictures of theirs that was exactly like mine. M Haddon from Airgun World did a nice write up.
