Daisy 40x series prototype?

Here's another interesting experimental or "pre-production" gun. It's a lever action Daisy repeater based on the 400 series that have the five shot "rota-clip" magazine. There are no identifying marks of what model this is other than the lever being marked Daisy. It has some scroll work, and ".177 CALIBER PELLET RIFLE" stamped on the left side of the receiver. This one has a rifled insert in the barrel that appears to be brass.
